School Play

Students at TCPHS performing in the school playOn Thursday May 3rd, Tiger Paw Productions performed Twelve Angry People, our adaptation of Reginald Rose’s play, Twelve Angry Men.

Starring fourteen high school students from grade 9 to grade 12, this classic play revolves around the jury deliberations in the case of a young man accused of murdering his father.  The evidence seemed overwhelming and the young man likely to be condemned to death; however, one juror was not so sure and chose to take a stand.

The actors were exceptional recreating different scenarios based on the evidence presented during the trial.  The depth of commitment and passion exhibited by the entire cast was remarkable. The performance was in every way a resounding success.

The directors have already begun work exploring scripts for next year’s production, which will be a comedy. All Town Centre students are encouraged to get involved!

It is anticipated that the High School play will become an annual event at TCPHS and that “Town Centre Theatre” will become bigger and better every year!
