For the 13th consecutive year the high school students and staff at Town Centre Private Schools has embraced Terry’s dream to find a cure for cancer. In the days leading up to the annual Terry Fox Run the focus was on fund raising and awareness of Terry Fox, his courage and determination in his attempt to run across Canada.
On the sunny morning of Thursday, September 27th, the high school student body and staff, dressed in their House League colours, headed to Highgate Park to run, jog or walk in support of the Terry Fox Foundation.
Terry Fox’s memory and legacy continues to grow through student involvement and generous financial contributions, all while fostering our school spirit and our commitment to “give back” to our community and support this worthy cause. Our goal this year is to raise $12,500. In 2017, TCPS was recognized by the Terry Fox Foundation as a Top Fundraiser and since our first run in 2006, TCPS has collectively raised an amazing grand total of $180,761.23 for the Terry Fox Foundation!
